Bullying Information & Prevention

Social-emotional skills, like math skills, build on each other.  USD 481 will implement the Second Step classroom-based program for the second year.  The program is made possible through a KDHE grant and is designed for grades K-8 to teach our kids how to understand and manage their emotions, control their reactions, be aware of others’ feelings, and have the skills to problem-solve and make responsible decisions, as well as recognize, report, and respond to bullying situations.  Watch for information or take-home materials which will periodically be sent to parents/guardians.  If you have any questions about this program, please second-step-early-learningcontact Joel Kahnt or Lorri Kasten.

White City Schools is committed to creating a safe learning environment for all students.
